This will be very cool. Peter Trachtenberg has been called "a genuine American Dostoevsky" (Wash Post) for his short stories (published in The New Yorker, NY Times, and Harper's) and books that range from the meaning of human suffering to the love of cats. He lived through the gonzo bohemian heyday of the Westbeth artists' complex, which is the subject of his book and his talk tonight (Friday) at the Bookshop.
