Does Frenchtown, A town without a known tagline, need one? That's a question that came up in recent online discussions and has stirred up some interest this winter.

Love Frenchtown, thinks it's probably worth looking into. To that end in it is launching a "Town Without a Tagline" campaign/contest for the interested public to come up with a tagline for the community.

The contest runs from February 26th through April 7th.

"We're looking to see how the public perceives Frenchtown in its own imagination, and while we may not use any of the tag lines provided, we will be offering prizes to the authors of the top three choices in two categories: Serious and Silly", noted Jef Buehler, Vice President of Love Frenchtown.

Entries can be submitted HERE!

Since people see Frenchtown differently and from so many different perspectives, this campaign will give voice to what they think are the key memorable features and assets of the community. Suggested taglines are recommended to be relatively short, perhaps 3 to 10 words in length, that capture the essence of the community.

Of course, any suggested tag-lines that are mean, derogatory, or otherwise offensive will definitely not be considered and certainly will not be appreciated. But other than that, anything goes!

As entries come in, Love Frenchtown will be sharing some of them online via social media, and to wrap up, it will curate a list of favorites, and the top 3 vote getters of those will receive Frenchtown-specific prizes.
