The Delaware River will once again transform into a glowing stage for creativity and community this spring as ArtYard’s Aqualumina returns.
A joyful convergence of art, music, performance, and light, Aqualumina is an opportunity to celebrate our perch along the Delaware River and the interconnected beauty of the world’s rivers, oceans, coral reefs, icebergs, and rain systems. At the heart of the Festival is a luminous procession, where choral music and illuminated sea creatures drift together in a glowing spectacle.
In the months leading up to the event, ArtYard will host artist-led workshops where families, schools, and community groups design illuminated giant sea-life puppets, whimsical rain cloud costumes, and jellyfish parasols that come alive during the Festival’s parade and riverfront celebration.
Aqualumina’s rain date is May 10, 2026!
