Dig Yoga presents "Nourish in Nature: A Spring Equinox Gathering" on Sunday, March 15.
As light and dark come into balance, we gather at Honey Hollow Farm to welcome the season of emergence, breath, and renewal.
This Spring Equinox mini-retreat is an afternoon of gentle movement, plant connection, seasonal ritual, and community nourishment — an opportunity to step out of winter’s heaviness and align with the rising energy of the land. Together, Sue and Kate blend their
shared backgrounds in herbalism and earth-based practice to guide you through an immersive seasonal experience rooted in both body and landscape.
We’ll begin in circle with a nourishing infusion of nettles and intention setting, then head out onto the farm to explore early spring herbs and bitters, deepening our relationship with the living landscape. Together we’ll create a communal Earth altar and flower mandala, honoring what is ready to grow as the season turns.
A guided facial steam ritual and breath meditation will invite connection with the element of Air, supporting release and renewal. You’ll create your own personal steam blend and participate in a simple letting-go ritual with the herbs.
From there, we’ll move into a gentle, grounding practice with breath and subtle qigong-inspired movements to support circulation, joints, and lymphatic flow as the body transitions into spring.
We’ll close with seasonal herbal teachings over a shared spring infusion, learning how bitter herbs awaken digestion and support the body’s natural spring cleansing processes. The afternoon ends in community with nourishing seasonal snacks, connection, and time
to simply be together.
This is a gathering to align with the rhythms of the Earth, tend your inner landscape, and welcome the return of light in good company.
