"More Frenchtown" Launch Party and Author Reading

  • 19 Jan 2026
  • 6:30 PM
  • Frenchtown Bookshop, 28 Bridge Street, Frenchtown, NJ

Town Historian Rick Epstein couldn't fit all of Frenchtown's entertaining historical stories into his first book, "Frenchtown: Fire, Floods, Fads, and Felonies." So, please join us to celebrate his second volume, "More Frenchtown."

The new book features yet more anecdotes from our borough's history, including more stories of the Great Frenchtown Fire of 1878 and tales of "arsonists, burglars, rowdy drunks, railroad wrecks, and creepy street-corner louts."

Author Rick Epstein is the former editor of the Delaware Valley News and now leads weekly walking tours of the borough. At this event, he will charm us with his favorite stories and sign copies of his new book.

Free and all are welcome. Prosecco and snacks will be served.
