Frenchtown enjoys French art, culture, lifestyle and fashion. As a cheeky spin off their namesake, we celebrate Bastille Day - the national day of France! This event is celebrated on July 13th this year. In France, it is formally called la Fête nationale (National Day) or Le Quatorze Juillet. The French National Day is the anniversary of Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération which celebrated the unity of the French people on 14 July 1790.
Bastille Day is celebrated in Frenchtown with live music, entertainment, vendors and amazing food! The festivities take place 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
