The Game of Imagination: Tarot, Storytelling, and the Unspoken

Allow Laetitia Barbier to be your guide as you draw inspiration from Tarot to activate your creativity during her final Art of Tarot workshop from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, March 9.

Can we co-create with the fascinating crowd of archetypal figures populating the Tarot? In this class, we’ll blend the evocative visual world of Tarot with our own capacity to create. Students will have an opportunity to delve into the rich symbolism of the cards and play with intuition to spark imagination ablaze.

Employing surrealist poetic and visual methods like collage and automatic drawing, participants will learn to channel the Tarot’s wisdom as a unique form of artistic expression. The goal is to access deeper layers of personal creativity and self-understanding. Students will emerge with a heightened sense of artistic direction, a portfolio of deeply personal artworks, and an enriched connection to their inner muse, guided by the timeless wisdom of the tarot.

This workshop, $25, takes place at ArtYard Workshop, 62A Trenton Ave, and is capped at 15 participants.
