Meet award-winning mixologist Danny Childs (of Cherry Hill's Farm and Fisherman Tavern) for a talk and cocktail party, as he introduces us to sustainable botanical ingredients that can be used to make unique beverages, as described in his new book, "Slow Drinks." Danny Childs is an anthropologist and ethnobotanist. He spent 18 months in South America, and then nine months camping on a New Jersey farm, to explore native plants that can be fermented, pickled, or infused into cocktails. He will talk about his discoveries at 7PM; then, stay to enjoy cocktails prepared from his recipes, courtesy of publisher Hardie Grant! The author will read from and sign his book. Free and all are welcome.
