Join us on the first Saturday of the month for our Poetry Reading series. Each gathering will include a reading by that month’s Featured Poet, followed by a discussion with the poet.
October's Featured Poet is Edwin Romond. He is a prize-winning poet, playwright, and author of five volumes of poetry, including "Dream Teaching," inspired by his three decades as a high school teacher in Washington, New Jersey and other communites. His poems have been read by Garrison Keilor on NPR's "The Writer's Voice," appear in Tim Russert's bestselling book "Wisdom of Our Fathers," and have won the New Jersey Poetry Prize and second place in the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Contest.
First Saturday Poetry Readings are free and open to the public.
