ArtYard Summer Exhibitions Opening Reception

  • 17 Jun 2023
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • ArtYard Center, 13 Front St., Frenchtown

ArtYard is excited to celebrate the launch of two summer exhibitions, Natalie de Segonzac: Evidence and Where There’s Smoke, an immersive storytelling experience by Lance Weiler, as well as Kea and the Ark, a new installation by Sebastienne Mundheim.

The community is invited to an opening reception from 6 to 8 PM on June 17, 2023.

Evidence, in ArtYard’s second-floor Lynn & John Kearney Gallery, and Where There’s Smoke, in ArtYard’s first-floor River Gallery, feature powerful works by artists who have harnessed their creative expression to heal from trauma and loss. The exhibitions feature photography, sculpture, immersive storytelling, and emergent technology and are the culmination of a series of incubation residencies at ArtYard during which the artists created new work. These exhibitions will be on view through Oct. 1.

The opening reception does not include entry to Where There’s Smoke, which requires timed tickets. Visitors will explore the installation in small groups to allow an optimal experience. Book your ticket here.

We strongly recommend RSVPing for the opening reception. Registering helps us plan for refreshments and allows us to contact people ahead of time in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Kea and the Ark, in ArtYard’s second-floor Laboratory Gallery, will be on view through Sunday, July 23.
