Chair yoga can make yoga poses more accessible for people who struggle to get up and down from the ground or find it challenging to sit comfortably on the floor. Muscles can be toned and stretched in a more efficient way when seated upright in a chair.
Even if you have a regular vinyasa practice you might find chair yoga to be wonderfully illuminating as we hone in on tight and weak muscles using variation of seated or standing yoga asanas. All levels of ability and fitness are welcome. No prior experience required. Wear whatever you are comfortable in. Online option available (via zoom) upon request once registered for the workshop.
