A family friendly day of Love and Acceptance expressed OUT loud - all are welcome! Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Allies... the entirety of the Queer community. Join us for the THIRD Annual Frenchtown PRIDE celebration in May, where we gather in support of our beautiful and bold LGBTQ brothers and sisters. We encourage all residents and visitors who support equality to come out and make this event even better in its third year!! Pride Celebration Frenchtown Style... Allies are encouraged to attend and participate. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to set up shop in the park.
Sunday, May 19 11:00-3:00 Frenchtown PRIDE! Sunbeam Lenape Park will be transformed into an LGBTQ festival ground, beginning with a worship service led by Pastor Peter Mantell of Frenchtown United Methodist Church, followed by a PRIDE parade, DJ ARM dance party, interactive story board, PRIDE history, storytelling, food truck and vendors! Lovefrenchtown is the Frenchtown Business & Professional Association (FBPA); a volunteer run, member supported, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local business and enriching our community. Mobilizing through media, town events, downtown beautification efforts, strong relationships with other community interest groups and expressing a voice in local government, the FBPA aims to elevate the experience of all who share our streets. Frenchtown, NJ is located on the beautiful banks of the Delaware River in Hunterdon County just over one hour from New York City and Philadelphia. Thirty minutes from the Pennsylvania towns of Doylestown, Easton, New Hope and Lambertville, NJ. Please consider joining our Events committee to plan and execute Frenchtown Events including Frenchtown Pride. PRIDE aims to grow in conjunction with New Hope Celebrates.
